Current Openings:

Delivery Driver - A current Texas driver's license with a spotless record is a must.

We are seeking an energetic, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our thriving company and build a promising career with us.

 

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), overtime eligible position during our busy season.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Operating Large Trailers and Trucks: Prior experience in safely operating and maneuvering large trailers and trucks is essential.

  • Skilled with Gooseneck and Bumper Pull Trailers: Competency in driving both gooseneck and bumper pull trailers is required.

  • Order Handling: Skillfully load, organize, and secure orders to ensure the safe delivery of all items, maintaining their integrity throughout transit.

  • Adherence to Safety Standards: Safely operate vehicles in all weather conditions and adhere to traffic regulations to safeguard both company assets and the general public.

Nursery Associate

Your role is essential to our customer's experience. Come rain or shine, you will assist customers with their nursery product inquiries, load materials, operate equipment, maintain the nursery, and ensure a safe environment. We're seeking individuals who bring reliability, flexibility, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive team-oriented attitude to our team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

​

  • Customer Assistance: Guide customers confidently in their floral, nursery, garden, plant, and landscape purchases, regardless of the weather.

  • Material Handling: Expertly load customer vehicles with plants and bulk materials, adapting to challenging weather conditions.

  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment, from skid steers, forklifts, to loaders, undeterred by weather conditions.

  • Vehicle Handling: Handle company trucks and utility trailers, including driving duties when applicable, in all weather conditions.

  • Nursery Care: Tackle tasks such as sweeping, raking, shoveling, pruning, deadheading, hand-watering, and weed control.

  • Delivery Support: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, trailers, and semis, showing resilience in unpredictable weather.

  • Safety: Maintain orderliness and safety in the nursery areas, rain or shine.

  • Dependable Delivery: Be ready for deliveries when needed, regardless of the elements.

  • Adaptability: Perform various other duties as needed or requested, ensuring productivity regardless of weather conditions.

Essential Qualifications:

​

Minimum of 1 year of outdoor work experience.

Ability to read and write legibly.

Basic mathematical skills, keen attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication.

Flexible schedule, including availability on weekdays and weekends.

Reliable transportation

​

Desired Qualifications:

​

  • Prior experience in a garden center, nursery, or farming. ✔

  • Experience or educational background in horticulture, agriculture, or related fields. ✔

​

Physical Demands:

​

  • Frequent walking, reaching, and verbal communication.

  • Occasional standing, handling materials, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

  • Lifting and moving objects, including up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and objects over 100 pounds occasionally.

  • Specific vision abilities required include color vision and depth perception.

​

(Note: Physical demands may vary.)

​

Work Environment:

​

Exposure to various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.

Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid environments, fumes, or airborne particles.

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the potential for electrical shock.

A louder noise level in the work environment.
